The WSJ visits iSuppy’s teardown lab, where the new iPad is taken apart. The Senior Analyst, Andrew Rassweiler talks about the companies supplying parts to Apple as well as the cost to produce the new tablet.

This past Friday saw the release of Apple’s new “iPad,” previously know as iPad 3.
The two major improvements are increased screen resolution, along with a faster graphics processor and 5-megapixel rear camera with 1080p recording quality.

So far the reviews have been pretty positive.

One of the major upgrades has been the quality improvement of the screen resolution.

As Walter Mossberg explains in his review,
“Using the new display is like getting a new eyeglasses prescription—you suddenly realize what you thought looked sharp before wasn’t nearly as sharp as it could be.”

Looking forward to see if the visuals match the praise.
