Third generation iPad

March 19, 2012

This past Friday saw the release of Apple’s new “iPad,” previously know as iPad 3.
The two major improvements are increased screen resolution, along with a faster graphics processor and 5-megapixel rear camera with 1080p recording quality.

So far the reviews have been pretty positive.

One of the major upgrades has been the quality improvement of the screen resolution.

As Walter Mossberg explains in his review,
“Using the new display is like getting a new eyeglasses prescription—you suddenly realize what you thought looked sharp before wasn’t nearly as sharp as it could be.”

Looking forward to see if the visuals match the praise.

First post

March 18, 2012

In this blog, I hope to post perspective, information, links, etc, on all things tech.

Among things I will post here will be current tech events, tech trends, tech tips, gadgets, cyber security, book reviews, interviews, etc.

Most of the stuff posted will be links to these items. However, whenever, possible I’ll add comments as well.

A very brief summary about me:

I have been working on PC’s since the 20th century. Currently, I work in the software industry as a QA analyst. Previously worked as a QA Tech Specialist where we setup, configured, did troubleshooting, and tested on PC’s and other tech devices.

My immediate goal is to post something daily. Eventually, I would like to include a regular weekly item, such as a tip of the week, etc.

Anyway, going forward I will work to improve and refine the blog.
I welcome comments or questions.
